How do I find grants for my postcode?
Enter the postcode, or the town if you do not have one. A UK postcode sits in five layers at once: the United Kingdom, the nation, the region, the county and the council. A scheme can be open in one of those layers and closed in another. Every Grant reads the postcode that way. A place name such as Oakham or Nottingham works when the postcode is not to hand.

Is a town as good as a postcode?
A town, county or region opens the layers we know by name. A full postcode is sharper, because council schemes follow the local authority, not the county town.
Why do two nearby postcodes differ?
They can sit in different councils. A district fund stops at the boundary even when the county fund does not.
What if my postcode is not recognised?
UK-wide schemes still show. County and council schemes stay hidden until the local layer knows that postcode. Use the town as a cross-check.

If you want the application written, the fee is fixed and shown before you pay: £450, £850, £1,450 or £2,200, set by the size of the award. Every Grant does not take a percentage of the grant, does not file the form, and is not part of GOV.UK. Confirm every scheme on the funder's own site.
