What is a voucher grant?

A voucher is a grant with a narrow use. You take it to an approved supplier, and it pays part of a named cost, such as a broadband install or a charge point. You do not receive the cash to spend as you like. If you use a supplier who is not on the list, the voucher is worthless.

Is a voucher easier than a competition?

The form is often shorter. The rules are not looser. The premises, the installer and the cap still have to match.
