How does Find Grants read a postcode?

A UK postcode sits in several layers at once: the United Kingdom, the nation, the region, the county and the council. Find Grants keeps a scheme that is open in any layer the postcode belongs to, and drops a scheme whose area does not include it. A town is coarser. Two postcodes in one county can sit in different councils.

What if I type a place instead?

A town, county or region opens the layers we know by that name. Council schemes that follow a boundary inside the county can be missed. Use the full postcode when you have it.

Does a high score mean I will win?

No. The score is a reading of place, trade and size inside this catalogue. The funder decides.
