What is the England Woodland Creation Offer?
The England Woodland Creation Offer pays towards creating new woodland in England. The Forestry Commission publishes the rates, including extras for nature and public access. You need management control of the land and a design that meets the rules. It is not a grant for a garden, and it is not the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund.

Is it a cash sum I can spend as I like?
No. Payments follow the published rates per hectare and for agreed extras. Planting that misses the design rules does not get paid.
