What should I prepare before a grant application?
Have the funder's questions open, not a generic template. Then gather the facts they actually score: what the money will buy, quotes if they ask for them, who else is paying, last year's turnover and profit, how many people you employ, and the date you can start. If a fact is not known, leave it blank until it is.

Do I need accounts?
If the scheme asks for them. A new firm may be allowed a forecast instead, but only when the brief says so. Do not attach a forecast and call it accounts.
What does the £99 draft include?
An outline in the shape of that scheme, using the details you saved and the purpose you give for this bid. It marks the gaps. It does not invent quotes or a partner.
