Why are UK grant applications refused?
Most refusals are ordinary. The round had closed. The applicant was outside the area. The cost was not eligible. The match funding was not there. The answers described the business instead of the project the question asked for. A polished draft does not repair a scheme you were never eligible for.

What is worth checking before you write?
The closing date, the map of who can apply, the eligible costs, and whether you can fund the rest. If any of those fail, stop.
