What grants can a pub, café or restaurant get?

A pub or a restaurant is treated as a business at that postcode, not as a national hospitality fund. You may be in range for a UK-wide scheme that fits the project, such as energy-saving kit, and for anything the council or the growth hub has open for that street. The old COVID hospitality grants are closed. They are not still paying.

Is there a grant for a beer garden or a new kitchen?

Only if a live scheme lists that cost. A local high-street grant might. A heat-pump scheme will not pay for a kitchen.
