Is there a grant for solar panels?
There is no single grant that pays every household or every business for solar panels. In England, the Warm Homes: Local Grant can include solar for a low-income private home, arranged by the council, not paid as cash to a trading firm. A business cutting energy use may be looking at a different scheme, such as a net-zero SME grant, and only if that round is open and the kit qualifies.

Is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme for solar?
No. That scheme is for a heat pump or, in some cases, a biomass boiler. Solar panels are not a heat pump.
What about a landlord?
Some home schemes allow a private rented home if the household qualifies. The landlord does not simply invoice the council. Read the Warm Homes rules for the address.
