What is subsidy control, and does it affect a small grant?
Subsidy control is the UK rule book for when public money gives an enterprise an advantage. A small grant can still be a subsidy. Many schemes use a route called Minimal Financial Assistance, which has a ceiling on how much you may receive over the rolling period. This is not legal advice. The offer letter and the guidance say which route that scheme uses.

Do I have to declare other grants?
Yes, if the form asks, and it usually does. Other public support in the period can use up the ceiling. Hiding it is worse than being over the line and saying so.
