What is a capital grant?
A capital grant pays for a thing that lasts: equipment, a building, a fit-out. A revenue grant pays for running costs: wages, rent, a programme of activity. Funders name which they will pay. Putting wages on a capital form, or a van on a revenue form, is a reason to be refused.
